Unfinished things
10th January

I’ve been think about all of my unfinished things. Not just knitting things, although there are a lot of those. I also have a good number of unfinished: computer games, books, stories I was writing and art projects. All of which I really enjoy and (no matter how much I tell myself this isn’t true) have lots of time to work on. I don’t know why I lose interest in things that I enjoy, Andrew tells me its something about “our generation”, but I don’t really think you can blame it on the year I was born.

This year, for me brings a lot of change and if I only try hard to keep one of my “resolutions” it will be this one. Finish whatever you start. I’ve got plans for this year that are going to take a lot of work if I want them to become something and I can’t keep giving up on my ideas and dreams, just becasue I’m bored of trying or because there is something new and shiny over there. I have an opportunity to do pretty much whatever I’d like to and I’m not about to waste it.

Tomorrow I’ll be bringing you pictures of all the yarn I’ve made on my new spinning wheel!
